Referrals
Always remember that taking care of your mental health is only one aspect of your overall well-being. Therefore, collaboration is vital. Referrals for different forms of therapy, specialists, and inpatient/outpatient programs can all be coordinated across the valley. Communication with your other specialists will always be maintained for the continuity of care.
Medication Management
Sometimes, psychotropic medication may be prescribed to help control your symptoms. Don’t worry; medication does not always mean “forever.” Together, we will work through the potential side effects, find the right combination if more than one medication is needed, and follow up frequently.

Psychiatric Evaluations
Let’s get to know you and your mental health needs. A psychiatric evaluation consists of an in-depth psychiatric, medical, and social assessment from birth to present, which allows us to diagnose and effectively treat you with the modality of your choice.

Lab Monitoring/Other Testing
It is very important to always have baseline labs drawn to rule out other causes of your symptoms. Labs will be ordered during your first visit and then periodically depending on which medication you are prescribed to ensure your body is processing and tolerating the medications well. Other testing at the patient’s discretion may include genetic testing for medication purposes and more in-depth screenings that may be discussed individually. FMLA paperwork completion is offered as well.
